How to prepare for and chair effective meetings, key meeting content, and the types of meetings most suited to different situations. The module ends with best practice for holding meetings in a fast-paced business environment.
Learners define Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements, how to monitor billable and resource utilisation and plan capacity. They then prepare a bespoke balanced scorecard to use when reporting in the workplace.
Discusses project lifecycle, project roles and responsibilities and introduces project management tools such as Gantt charts, critical path analysis and stakeholder mapping. Learning is then applied to the learners’ own projects.
Learners apply lean principles to map out their current processes during a brown paper exercise in this action learning set. They then review these processes, identify efficiencies and create decision trees to ensure consistency of quality.
Looks at the difference between quality assurance, quality management, and quality control. Learners then conduct a root cause analysis and apply the five whys principle to determine the starting point of troubleshooting a problem.
Performance Management is key to organisational culture. Learners test their tolerance for disagreement and level of professionalism, map out the company’s performance management framework and explore how it can be improved.
